It's been two decades we are serving humanity and practicing homoeopathy. The basic aim of the clinic being prevention of disease is applied in practice also by letting people face challenge to change oneself and introduce healthy lifestyle measures along with correct administration of the homeopathic medicine. At besides the homeopathic skills, a person is also given the tips for lifestyle changes and people who require counseling for physical, mental and social issues are being given the courage to fight their flaws and live a healthy and happy life.
1. Wait at least five minutes after eating or drinking before taking your remedy. Strong odors or tastes may interfere with the remedy
2. Avoid touching the remedy with your hands in case you have recently handled a strong smelling substance. Use the vial cap or a clean spoon, and place the remedy under your tongue to avoid contaminating the remedy.
3. While under homeopathic treatment for chronic illness, it is best to notify your homeopath before taking any new medications or other homeopathic remedies. An exception to this is a first aid or emergency situation, in which case you should take the appropriate remedy or action immediately and call your practitioner afterwards.
4. Don't expose your remedy to direct sunlight, magnets, or strong aromatic odors such as camphor, solvents, paint, and chemicals.
Does homeopathic treatment require refraining from eating some food articles? Especially coffee, tea, mint, garlic, onion, alcohol?
This is a common question and there goes a myth with it at times. Going little in the background will help to understand this better. The homeopathic medicines are essentially taken by mouth; and the pills or globules get absorbed in the oral cavity.
Since the medicine gets absorbed and acts from the mouth, it is suggested that the mouth should be clean from strong food articles, taste and fragrances.
Since coffee, onion, garlic and mint have strong odor, it was suggested that they are better avoided during the course of homeopathic treatment.
keep a gap of about half an hour between the intake of medicine and such food articles; not hampering the action of the medicine.
We have observed and documented that if such discipline is observed, the homeopathic medicines do work; without banning those food articles.
There may be some food restrictions because of ones illness such as high blood pressure (to avoid salt), gastritis (to avoid spicy), Hepatitis C (avoid deep-fried food); and because of their effect on the homeopathic medicines.
